I recently booked an appointment with a salesperson at this dealership, and unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected. When I arrived, I realized that the salesperson had little to no experience with the cars and was unable to answer any of my questions, constantly needing to go ask one of his managers. This was frustrating, to say the least.What made the situation worse was the unprofessional behavior I witnessed. As soon as I walked into the showroom, I saw two gentlemen in an office, one of whom had his legs up on the desk, completely ignoring everyone around him. It was incredibly disrespectful. When I asked the salesman to bring the boss over to address my concerns, the manager came but spoke to us in a condescending manner, almost as if we were beneath him.Eventually, I realized that the gentleman I was speaking to was the same person who had been lounging in the office with his feet on the desk. He continued to speak to us with an arrogant attitude, which made me feel uncomfortable. I told him I would get back to him the following day, but honestly, I have no intention of ever returning to this dealership.Despite my decision, they kept calling and texting me, which only added to the frustration. Overall, it was a very disappointing and unprofessional experience.

As a customer, I strongly advise you to ask all the necessary questions, make sure that all the information makes sense, I.e VIN number, if there was any accidents, etc.For my experience Automobile en Direct is a very good company, I am pleased with the car I got.I personally suggest anybody who needs a car and wants to work with a professional and honest person to ask for Simon or Frédéric. Frédéric was the person I was working with from the beginning. He is an honest worker, he answers all questions in an efficient time manner and he made sure to keep my needs and interests in mind whenever a little problem arrived, he took care of it right away. Also, Simon was extraordinary, he made everything easy for me, found ways to solutions you would never think existed and he was very honest.A lot of dealerships just want to make their money, sometimes they don’t even know anything about the cars they’re selling, that’s why if you need a car and you need someone who’s not only honest and reliable but trustworthy, ask for Frédéric and/or Simon.Thank you for all the work you’ve done. I had an awesome experience with the Gatineau team for my first SUV. There were a few issues to clear up and the Gatineau team dealt with it very professionally. This is a great place to shop for a car if you don’t want to be pressured by salesmen! They also have a great guarantee to add onto your purchase as a safety measure for your purchase. I’m super happy with my new car and fair trade in price !!Also thank you to Rajae the superstar who helped me with the final contract and explaining things clearly. Thank you 😊

I purchased a Toyota Prius Prime from them in September and it was exemplary experience from start to finish. Thank you Anthony and Raph for finding me just the right car to suit my needs and budget and patiently answering all my questions. Because of dealing with auto direct, I got a newer car at a better price than I saw at any other dealership. No high pressure sales tactics, great warranty package considering the electronics in my car. A week later, when I realized my charging cable was missing and I went back, they were quick to just order me a new one at no extra charge. Highly recommend the entire team!

I purchased a Mitsubishi SUV from this dealership with the agreement that new brakes would be installed as part of the deal. However, a few days later, I began hearing a rattling noise and contacted them. They informed me that since I reside in Ontario, the 30-day warranty was not applicable, and they couldn’t assist me.I was shocked to learn this, as it was never mentioned during the purchase process. To resolve the issue, I had to pay out of pocket, only to discover that the new brakes had not been installed properly. This resulted in additional expenses to fix the problem.I feel misled on multiple fronts and will not be returning to this dealership for future purchases.

We purchased a used car, had it checked by our mechanic, so we tried our best to be careful with purchase. Within one week our tailgate had problems, not working sometimes. I called and left messages with Rajae, Anik, and service rep to ask if anything could be done, no return calls. We had very low expectations of after sales service, so we are not disappointed with their lack of it. When we picked up the car, it wasn't very clean, the sales rep gave us the impression that it would be cleaned up. We had agreed to supply a new battery, when I checked it at home, I was surprized to find that it was NOT held down, it was just sitting there loosely. That was incredibly bad!

Don't bother with this dealership. I spoke with Andréanne to make sure they had a vehicle that was listed on their website. I was told yes and they booked me an appointment to sit with a sales person. When I got to the dealership, everything was great. We went outside to look at my trade-in. 20mins later, I am told the vehicle I wanted is not only sold but delivered already. INSANE.

I recently bought a car from this dealership and am overall very satisfied with the experience. The welcome was excellent, and the various agents were very friendly while remaining professional. I especially appreciated being regularly updated on the progress of the process.The car itself is in very good condition and runs perfectly. Necessary adjustments were made with care, and I'm pleased with the quality of the vehicle. However, I was a bit disappointed with the promised cosmetic cleaning. While I can’t complain about the exterior due to the heavy rain on the delivery day, the interior still seemed dusty.Regarding the management of my file, there was a small issue: since my file changed advisors, some information wasn’t well communicated. I was surprised on the signing day by details I hadn’t anticipated. However, Ms. Anik and the team did their best to explain the remaining points and answer all my questions, and they truly went out of their way to rectify the situation. They called as much as they could to ensure my satisfaction and showed great responsiveness in resolving the issue. This could have discouraged someone else, but it didn’t prevent me from finalizing the purchase. I recommend taking notes during meetings with advisors to avoid any confusion.Aside from that, I really appreciated how the team took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. Being able to negotiate certain warranties was a real plus. Thanks to the whole team for your excellent work and support throughout this process!

I came in looking at the véhicule options they have to see if there was anything i liked , all i wanted to do is look at the cars and if there was one i liked i would moved forward. i was there for 30 min before even seing car. i wanted to look at the honda civic they had and he showed every other car but a honda civic. he made me answer all these surveys and information before looking at the car i left because i was frustrated but then they start harassing me with calls (28 calls ) and emails and text message after telling them i wasn’t interested multiple times. i texted them to stop and he said “ We wont call you back , it simple to ask “ that is arrogant and i had already said this multiple times. All i wanted was too look at cars and but there strategy is to pressure you into buying a car. I suggest buying a car elsewhere.

The only reason I’m giving a three star is because if you live in Ottawa, it is a pain to get the car transferred to you. I bought my first car in Gatineau and they did safety and everything. This is my second vehicle and I had to do everything. It was just too overwhelming. I really didn’t like that process. They should make it a little bit easier for people who live in Ottawa They should safety the vehicle they should just do everything and then when you go and pick up the car, you’re just going to pick it up and all that’s left for you to do is get your license plate.That’s all I wish I had to do but they give you so many steps to do if you live in Ottawa . but I had amazing customer service experience they were very helpful. They didn’t try to sell me a vehicle I didn’t want. They really worked with me. Ralph Jimmy, and Erin were amazing to work with.And the lady that sits at the front desk, but I forget her name. She is wonderful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ this is where the Sales team and the financial team they deserve a five star!Everyone was extremely helpful. I would give have given a five star, but the switchover it was just too much for me

Update: the company has since reached out to me to make things right by offering to replace the rotors free of charge. Once the work was completed, I did receive the Ontario safety. Good on them for taking ownership to rectify the situation!I bought a 2023 Mitsubishi RVR. When I asked the sales rep if it was a CVT transmission he assured me that it was not. I called him out and they had to fess up that it was indeed a CVT. I landed off buying the vehicle after they assured me that it had a Quebec safety and all was in order. I had to have an Ontario safety done and it failed the safety due to the brakes being unsafe. Their safetys are bogus and they refused to fix the breaks and said it was my problem now. I asked for copies of the documents that I signed and never received them. The sales reps are clueless and have no experience. The sales rep even said that their goal is to sale in quantity. They tell you what you want to hear. No after sales service at all!BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY TELL YOU!

In terms of on-site customer service, the people that I delt with were exceptional gentlemen, even when challenged by my rough approach to dealing with salespeople. I give 5+ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars for thatSofiane and his manager (cannot remember the name) were absolute gentlemen, I can't stress it enough. I really wanted to buy a car from them, but I didn't mainly due to the company's business model.Business model and other pieces that turned me off:-the vehicle that I wanted was off-site (@St- Hubert, QC) so I could not physically see it, touch it or test drive it, which if fine since it's an online hybrid car dealer-when I called to enquire I was asked to book a virtual tour of the car in order to have any of my questions answered. I agreed since I wanted answers.-I was asked to pay a fully refundable deposit of $300 for the virtual tour-I refused out of principle! I asked a question about a $40000 car that I cannot see or touch, and they want me to pay them for the answer? HELL NO!!! You are not doing me a favor by taking your time to speak to me and it's extremely inconvenient and petty to ask me to pay for your attention!!! even if refunded after.-After refusing to pay this, I was then asked to book an in-person appointment in Gatineau office, since in person they could answer questions.... an online car dealer, that won't show you the car virtually without a deposit was now asking me to drive 30km just to get an answer about pricing?! Since they are saving resources by selling online, why waste my resources by asking me to drive all the way to you to speak about a car that is not even on-site...... oh boy, you guys need to go back to the drawing board regarding business model and customer service.-Having said all this, I did want the car, so i did drive to Gatineau, despite being pissed off about the nonsense.-Upon arrival, the receptionist said that they wrongly booked my appointment at St-Hubert, so no one was available to see me. I was livid for the lack of professionalism.-This is when Sofiane stepped in. His gentle/humble approach immediately disarmed me and he actually almost got me to buy on the spot-one sticking point was the delivery fee of $300, but he had it waved-the other sticking point was that they are not set up, as other dealers in Gatineau are, to provide an Ontario Safety or have an Ontario tax number so that Ontario residents can pay the Ontario tax directly to them on-site to avoid all of the extra steps to get refunded QC tax after having to pay the Ontario tax when registering at Service Ontario. This would be inconveneint and add extra cost since I'd need to get another Ontario safety Check before registering.The Gatineau dealer that I ended up buying from 2 days later, did the Ontario Safety check for me and is registered to accept Ontario taxes. That was probably the detail that won my business!My humble advice... fix the customer service aspects of your business model, make it easier for Ontarian buyers, and give Sofiane a BIG raise!!!

Be very cautious, read everything , don’t sign and don’t pay anything in advance. My « refundable deposit » to reserve a vehicle , and transfer a vehicle never happened. They kept the money and did not refund it!! Now I need to make a legal claim for a refund through my bank for services not rendered/ not as stated by the business. Once interested in a vehicle the energy changes and the the scamming begins. Local Outaouais family check out this new Gatineau location business’s other locations reviews such as Laval and their massive public file through OFC office du protection du consommateur.Very misleading , dishonest and outright thievingBe warned.Waiting for my 550$ refund they said was « refundable « now I’m needing to go through a legal claim to get it back since they have not delivered the service, nor the refund, after I retracted my interest in purchasing after they refused to transfer the vehicle from another depot without me signing a contract stating I had already seen it, driven it, and was in acceptance of the state of the vehicle as is, with 0 certification or guarantee !Seems as though they are looking to take in as much money from the innocent ppl of this region before they catch on to their crooked dealings and history.Big waste of time. The guarantee they offer comes out of your pocket so you can’t sue them for it later in court. As documented on the OPC website. Check it out before dealing with them, as least you won’t regret that!

We bought a used car. The day of the drive test we noticed that back camera was blurry so we decided commenting to them and they said that it wasn’t a problem due to they will make a total cleaning before the deliver date. Also the TPS was on and they said that it was just because the air pressure of a tire but it wasn’t. The tps don’t work. So as a newcomers we didn’t know much about the process and we decided to trust. It sad because the delivery day, they were still saying that they will check it. We were tricked. We already make the safety check in Ontario and it needs a complete change of transmission line, services in the four breaks of each wheels and change of oil. And of course, nothing of these are covered by the “30 days of satisfaction guarantee”.

I called asking about the Carfax details on a specific vehicle as it wasn’t available on their website and they wouldn’t answer my questions via email. I was told that I would have to book an appointment and view the vehicle in person before they would share the carfax details as the sales people were “too busy”. Well, I’m too busy to drive an hour each away to view the vehicle if you can’t answer a simple question. Seems like a bullet dodged if this is how they operate.Edit:To follow up to the owner's response, all attempts to contact me by email were before I had the experience detailed above. Before I had called, I had asked repeatedly by email for a carfax on 2 specific vehicles and only ever received responses asking for my number to discuss, with no carfax provided. I don't want to waste my time considering a vehicle only to find it has had accident damage in the past. It seems pretty sketchy that they're so unwilling to provide vehicle history.I purchased a vehicle elsewhere and had a very good experience, they provided the carfax in the listing so I didn't even have to ask for it.
