I waited a bit to post this until we had tried one of each for what we ordered. 5/5. Honestly, when my husband told me someone came to the door and that he had signed us up for a presentation a couple weeks later I was so annoyed. Matthew came to give us our presentation and he was so professional and so nice! He was super honest and up front, easy to talk to. As he went through the details I was more and more sold (we usually package and freeze our meat ourselves from Costco). Needless to say we submitted an order. We had the sausages, chicken breast and cutlets, pork chops and cutlets, steaks and roast beef. Tonight we finally cooked the steaks, hence my decision to finally hop on here. Easily one of best steak I have ever eaten (I have TMJ and am picky) - it melted like butter.Overall - not a scam, worth the price, really kind people that work there! Happy customer.

He told us about the farms the meats come, he went through all the products that they have to offer.They worked within our budget to create a package customized for our family, all the products that we had chosen. I am enjoying the sample pack of meats so far and have tried both the steak and the veal chop. Both high quality and tender. Sheena came by last Friday for the presentation and she was excellent (even my dog liked her). Sheena exhibited enthusiasm and had a high level of professionalism and product knowledge.I think the business model (1 to 4 deliveries per year) would work well for a family of say three or more people and with ample freezer space, but being on my own, the minimum order quantity was not a good fit for me at this time. Should things change, and I have the ability to order smaller more frequent orders, I could see myself placing orders. If you're looking for high quality and lots of variety meat then check out East Angus. The sales rep Matthew was very knowledgeable about their products and did a great job walking us through the whole process. They even gave us a sample pack of steaks and pork to try before we bought. We didn't end up placing an order due to storage constraints, but the meat we tried was excellent.

Very patient even when pushed about pricing comparisons to local butchers and stores, following up with informed information on the benefits of their freezing process and aging, as well as sheer quality.Product was great quality, you're for sure paying a small amount more for quality, but for our eating habits we are talking $8.75 a week difference, skip a breakfast sandwich out on the road and you've got better meat for the year.

Very interesting business model. They are up front that cost savings isn't huge but quality is. The idea is spending the same you would now, but receiving higher quality meets. I do want to mention the individual who visited us, Tanishq, was extremely polite, well prepared, knowledgeable and informative. The service wasn't for us because the delivery schedule doesn't fit our lifestyle, but the meat was high quality and very tasty, and the presentation by Ben and Noble was friendly, respectful, and really interesting. We didn't feel pushed to sign up for something that doesn't fit our needs, and would definitely recommend the service for busy families who want to have their mealtime bases covered well in advance. Totally worth learning about! Thanks also to Mattheus who gave us the opportunity to learn about the company.

I had an amazing time discussing my grocery situation with Ben and Aaron. They were very accommodating with working around space and budget restrictions. Each step of the way, they checked in with me to make sure I was understanding the math and that everything was transparent.In the end, they provided me with many great options to save money compared to big grocery stores. For example, breakfast sausages were $5 cheaper per pack and came with more meat, saving me $110/year.Would 100% recommend spending the time to talk with Ben and Aaron about your grocery budget and see what works for you!

Dylan Laflamme, the rep, scheduled a visit a couple of weeks later to present us with the company and their offers. Dylan presented us with a great meat plan, based on our needs and budget. His service was great, he answered all our questions with knowledge and clarity and didn't push anything over us. Although for personal reasons we didn't go ahead with it, It was a very good time to learn more about their system, the great quality of the meat, and how we can use it in the future.

Just a thought.We had reps come to my door a few days ago, I was excited after the rep pitched the idea to me. He assured me all the meat was "grass fed, free roam" all that good stuff. Top quality.After doing some research that didn't seem to be true. I emailed the company asking for proof of those claims since they had me sign a contract saying I would sit down for a presentation on Friday (yesterday). No reply to my email. I sent a second email asking to not waste my time with their presentation and thankfully no one showed up.This company seems really shady. They don't post their prices anywhere, they're very secretive about them.They'll say anything to get you to sign the contract saying they'll charge you over $100 for the sample box if you don't keep your appointment. Since I signed the contract under false pretenses the contract is moot.What a ridiculous company. Just buy from local farms instead. Don't waste your time.

Trust me you’re not that busy.We got our meat delivered to our door on the date we agreed on and it was the best meat we’ve ever had.They are not charging you 135 that’s how much the box is worth. The only way you’ll get billed is if you don’t let a rep come and talk to you about your experience and hopefully get you to buy with them. They are hustling like any other business. Very cool marketing technique.Search up what flash frozen is and tell me that isn’t the coolest thing ever. I didn’t even know what it was. They have so many products I was able to get my kangaroo and lamb I like, as well as my sirloin steaks. We were amazed by the quality and kindness of this brand.

I had someone come to my door and offer the promotional box, I accepted graciously and set a date to hear about the offers they have. I have a 7 week old baby and a husband who works long hours. I made an appointment for the 27th of October, and no one showed up! I had my sheet confirming my time and date.Then, the next week, randomly, I received a text stating they were coming on November 3rd at 8 o'clock at night! We had cleared our schedule the week before and had a babysitter. For the 3rd, we were not available and didn't agree to the date at all. It was a random text stating they were coming.After trying to call this company they 'took a note' and never contacted me, I called the number that texted me and a female representative rescheduled my appointment to today (November 7th) at 6 o'clock. No one showed yet again. Beyond unprofessional and unreliable. I won't wait around for them anymore.Edit:The company representative is now trying to claim they have texts stating we never confirmed for the 3rd when we clearly called the office on the 2nd and this representative as well stating the date didn't work and that we had never agreed to it in the first place. We rescheduled our appointment for the 6th of November, and no one showed up. Just like they didn't show for the October 27th appointment. Now they're trying again to get me to call and reschedule ANOTHER appointment. This is beyond ridiculous!!!! This is harassment. Terrible company.

Quality of meat is in between that of a butcher and all the grocery stores, so about mid range. Their biggest downfall is the customer service. We setup our 2nd delivery and were given a date within 2 weeks of our request. Fast forward to yesterday (delivery day) and it was a no show no call, because their driver quit mid shift. I texted them yesterday after the delivery window we were provided and received a response this morning with a loose apology of "I don't know what happened but I'm looking into it and will call you back today". Received the call and was told my delivery was being pushed 2 full weeks! This is not acceptable and your free box is not what I wanted. That doesn't solve the problem that I now need to go to the store to supplement the next 2 weeks of food. Meanwhile, you're still receiving your bi-weekly payments from me? I now need to find money in my budget that I didn't have. I will not be placing anymore orders after this contract is completed.

We met with Dylan to discuss options and I cannot say enough positive things about our experience in building a plan. Dylan was extremely knowledgeable about their products and did not push us into anything we did not need or try to give us a typical sales pitch and structured the presentation on quality of the product and active listening to our family's needs. East Angus grocery is a great alternative to grocery store options especially if you are health conscious about the things that go into your food and also supporting local farms. They go above and beyond with their customer service and management (Dominique) was extremely generous and flexible in meeting our budget requirements.
