My daughter and I happened upon this shop, and Val provided us a great one on one experience. We walked out with a few unique new peices to add to our wardrobe and a couple of gifts for friends. I love that the designs and merchandise are Quebec made! I will be ordering online now that I know what this shop has to offer.

Aust for new clothes ,but retro vintage look.Great selection of made on Montreal dresses, skirts top etc...Some brand from the UK. Great service..There was more size options in the sales items than most usual stores when on sale. Sizing could require 1-2 size up if not stretch but stretch were usually accurate. Also, their posted hours were their hour which is nice and not the case everywhere in January.

I was so excited to find a store with clothing that I love. I told the sales assistant that I like looking like I could hangout with Katherine Hepburn and she understood what I meant. I'm plus size and was initially worried about finding things in my size especially after trying on a few things I picked myself but she was able to find tons of things that looked incredible. If you like retro/rockabilly/alt clothing I totally recommend.

What an amazingly unique store this is!! So many cute items to find and with a wide range of sizes there is something for everyone. The prices were very fair and the quality of their items also seemed to be top tier! The staff were very kind and knowledgeable as well, quickly helping us find what we were looking for. Highly recommend checking out this store!

I have a bit of history with this shop - when I was 18, I visited Montreal and bought a few outfits here - it became one of the main reasons I decided to move to the city one year later! The staff is so friendly, and are more than happy to help you find the pieces and sizes you need. They also carry a great selection (or curation, if you will) of different colour-ways and retro styles. I visit at least once a month! If you are passing by, don't hesitate to check it out. 100% would recommend.Side Note: I do wish they would carry more XXS options, but that is a problem on the production end of the companies they source from! Queen of the Main has demonstrated a great size range so far! Much love xx

This my favorite shop in MONTREAL and since a few years now, you can find different clothes for different events, the ladies are always helpful without pushing you, inside it's like in a movie between ELVIS, the red flamingos and the different decorations, you dive in another atmosphere. They can order the size you need, they are so transparent: if it doesn't suit you, they tell you and on the contrary if this is for you, they tell you too, I appreciate that! thanks ladies, keep up this excellent service. Best shopping experience of my life. I went in with a specific idea of what dress I wanted unfortunately the size I needed was sold out. The staff listened to what I was looking for, took some measurements and pulled what felt like every single dress the store had that met my requirements (in my size). They were friendly, helpful and genuine in their feedback. It was a 10/10 shopping experience and I will be back!Thank you again for all the help!

I was visiting Montreal and dropped by the store today. It is a lovely store, but when I asked to try on some dresses, the saleswoman insisted that she had to take my measurements first and then said the dresses would not work and would not even let me try them on. I have other dresses from the same brand in that size and they fit perfectly, so her claim that “sizing is different” and I would need at least two sizes up was not valid. Just let people try things on if you want to make sales. I bought the same dress she wouldn’t let me try on on Amazon for $40 cheaper. I would have liked to support a local business, but I wasn’t given the chance to try. o

Owner was very nice and responded quickly. Sales attendant was helpful (at first) and took a lot of time to find items for me. Unfortunately nothing I found really felt like a “perfect fit.” The fabric and quality of most of the items wasn’t that great. Some were decent. I think several items were polyester or linen which was uncomfy.Quality wise for instance, there was a button on the floor in the fitting room even though I was very careful while trying on the clothes. I assume it fell off one of the items I tried on. Given all of the items I tried on only had white buttons in cosmetic areas I knew I hadn’t been the cause (not near the zipper or areas where fit was critical). However, after this, the lady outside the fitting room’s attitude changed and almost seemed like she was silently blaming me for the button on the floor.When I told the attendant I had to rush out and I might only get the one item I liked, her entire demeanor shifted even more. I could tell she was annoyed. She tried to ask if I was getting the item but because I wasn’t 100% on it and because I felt like she was no longer treating me kindly after she found out I was only getting one item, I decided not to purchase. Had her entire demeanor and treatment of me not changed when she found out I wouldn't be buying much, I would’ve rated this place a 4/5 for quality of service.I told the red haired attendant before leaving “I really liked this dress but I just am not sure about the fabric so I think I’m going to leave without anything today. I just wanted to thank you so much for your help, I really appreciated it.” She was completely silent and gave me a fake but clearly angry tight lipped smile. I understand it was her time and effort, which is why I thanked her, but it’s not my fault if I didn’t like anything.Avoid unless you plan to buy multiple items, I guess?

It is the 50’s style for women that are mostly imported from England where the style still lives. There are initiatives for locally made in Quebec but it’s low quantity.The staff are always helpful. They have been honest on some dresses that don’t fit well and that is appreciated. We appreciate the classic look it provides and values the grace that existed in those days.
